Security cables are ideal for use everywhere, where in case of fire human life and material assets are to be protected and safety conciousness take a special significance. The cables are suitable for fixed installation in dry and moist rooms, in, above, on and beneath plaster as well as in masonary walls in concrete. The cables are halogen-free, have low smoke gas development, no fire propagation and insulation retention in the event of fire of 180 minutes in accordance with VDE 0472 Part 814. In addition, the cable has been tested for functional integrity in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 12 (E 30) for all standard carrying systems (Cable troughs and ladders, ceiling installation) and is therefore suitable for use in fire alarm systems, systems for alarming and issuing instructions to people, safety lighting and other backup lighting in accordance with VDE 0108.
