ACS invests 10 Million Euros
In order to meet the ever-increasing requirements and to be able to supply our customers on time, we are investing a total of 10 million euros at the location in Kematen/Krems.
This enables a wider product portfolio with higher stock availability and faster delivery times. The conscious decision to invest in the main location will create additional 30 jobs in the Kremstal region.
The Project "Expansion 2023" has been started in February 2023 an is separated into four construction phases. It will be completed at the end of 2026.
The construction work is divided into four sections:
Construction phase 1: Expansion of the outdoor storage area
Construction phase 2: Machine hall with integrated office building
Construction phase 3: Goods receipt hall with adjacent office building
Construction phase 4: Duplication of the existing warehouses with loading ramps
Groundbreaking Ceremony
The first construction phase was completed just in time for the groundbreaking ceremony on May 12, 2023 and the newly asphalted outdoor storage area was inaugurated with a tent festival.
Politicians from the surrounding communities, customers, suppliers, neighbors, as well as all employees with friends and families were invited.
In addition to regional specialties prepared by catering companies and restaurants from neighboring towns, the festival was also accompanied by music from a DJ.
