We are always interested to receive unsolicited applications at ACS. Maybe we are planning to post a new job position and you are our first candidate! Anyway, high affinity towards sales, technical know-how as well as experience in the cable industry are some very welcome qualifications ACS is looking for.

ACS is a strongly growing company. Presently about 75 employees belong to the ACS family. Last year allone 15 new colleagues have joined our team.

We are a relaible partner for cables and wires for more than twenty years. As a familiy-run and innovative company, working in a partnership with our customers and suppliers is important to us. The know-how of our employees and our product portfolio, consisting of stock items and special types, are our advantage. We support a large number of industries with our knowledge. Our quality products are used all over Europe and ​​​​​​​we can look back on long-term partnerships.

Being a trading company the Austrian collective agreement for wholesale and retail provides the basis for the mutual rights and obligations between ACS and its employees.

Of course, our warehouse staff is equipped with suitable working clothes including work shoes and a hat.

Our offices are modern, bright, comfortable, friendly and nearly paperless. Many green plants and air filters help to create a pleasant working atmosphere. However, due to the strong growth of our company additional office and warehouse space will be created.

We recommend to wear business casual, for example:
men: polo shirt or shirt, long jeans or cloth pants, jacket or sweater, closed shoes or sneakers.
women: long jeans or trousers, skirt or dress, blouse or polo shirt, sweater or jacket, closed shoes or sneakers.

Yes - we are closed for company holidays during Christmas, reopening on January 2nd. In this period we spend time with our families and friends and let the old year pass in peace and silence, which enables us to recharge our batteries and restart our good work together in the coming year.

Our core working time ist from 9am to 3pm. During this period, all employees must be present in the office. The range of our flexitime framework is from 6am to 6pm. At ACS we have a 38,5-hour week working time standard, on Fridays we finish at 12 o clock.

Coffee and mineral water (still and/or sparkling) are available for all employees free of charge. Further benefits are fresh apples, flexitime, working from home, various events (Christmas party, barbecue, company excursions) as well as the free use of the company‘s electric scooters. ACS also supports different running events and offers company mobile phone and notebook for business and private use.

ACS can be easily reached by train (the train station is only three minutes walk away). We are deliberately focusing on electric mobility and offer charging stations for our company e-cars. Our PV plant mounted on the roof provides the necessary power.

ACS, of course, offers career opportunities to its employees. The essential preconditions are one’s own motivation and willingness combined with the internal coordination with the management. We obviously support in-house training and educational programs. A possible career path within the company would be the promotion from Sales Assistant to Junior Manager and further on to Senior Manager in purchasing and sales.

We plan to provide apprenticeship places for young people in the future.

Our new colleagues are optimally brought on board and integrated into the company. In the intitial phase he/she will be assigned a mentor from his/her department who helps with any questions. All employes are provided with a welcome folder as well as a training plan at the beginning. The latter assumes a job rotation programme in the various departments for a few days.

Our company has been established more than 20 years ago. The cable industry is a traditional branch which is in a state of constant development. We are broadly positioned and service customers from various industrial branches. Together with our customers and clients we are shaping the energy transition process and are a contact partner for them when it comes to innovative improvements in the sector as well as for technical solutions. Digitalisation and electrification will even grow faster, thus: YES – the cable industry provides a future-proof employment!
